Building Better Businesses Together
The Australian Government’s Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (DAWE) extends grants under its Package Assisting Small Exporters (PASE) program. These funds support small exporters in overcoming the barriers they face when exporting. ARDA has been awarded funding by DAWE to deliver a comprehensive Market Diversification Program to help businesses develop their unique value proposition and access new market channels. The program will help participants overcome impediments to trade, build value and develop a strong regional brand.
Intellectual property (IP) is an invaluable asset for any small or medium enterprise (SME), and protecting IP is critical to the success of a business, protecting your brand and ideas.
Every business should consider IP protection as part of their initial business strategy. IP Australia administers IP rights and legislation relating to patents, trade marks, designs and plant breeder’s rights, advising government and Australian businesses on how to make the most of their IP.
IP Australia and ARDA are working together to provide regional agribusinesses with the right information and tools to support business development and commercialisation, and protect their unique value proposition.
